Installation: Notice
This piece was an invitation for people to become aware of their surroundings. As the strings moved subtly in the breeze, they acted as a tangible manifestation of wind, inspiring viewers to more holistically experience the beauty in the nature they inhabit. I hung string from every branch I could reach and cut each string at 6" above the ground in order to create a sensory experience of delicate contact with the string if the viewer decided to lie beneath the piece.
